Pick Up & Delivery INFORMATION

FURNITURE PICK UP

The Perfect Piece employs moving men who can pick up pieces from your home. There is a charge for pickup based on your proximity to the store, difficulty of the pickup (stairs, tight turns, heavy pieces) and the number of movers required (fee starts at $75). This amount will be deducted from the price we quoted you on the furniture. Please note that if doors, moldings, banisters, etc. need to be removed to accommodate the furniture pickup, you will need to have this work done prior to the men arriving at your home. Also, your furniture pieces must be cleaned prior to the pickup.

FURNITURE DELIVERY

If you do not have a way to transport the furniture you purchased to your home, The Perfect Piece offers a delivery service. There is a fee associated with delivery (fee starts at $75) which is dependent upon your proximity to the store, difficulty of the delivery and the number of movers required. This fee includes two movers bringing the furniture to your home, taking it up one flight of stairs (if applicable) and placing it in a vacant spot where you want it… once. For heavy and/or large furniture involving excess stairs or tight spots, additional movers will be needed and a surcharge will apply. Please note that if doors, moldings, banisters, etc. need to be removed to accommodate the furniture delivery, you will need to have this work done prior to the men arriving at your home. Also, furniture delivery does not include any assembly of furniture or moving additional pieces to accommodate the new furniture being delivered.


IF YOU ELECT TO PICK UP YOUR FURNITURE PURCHASES FROM THE PERFECT PIECE

If you are able to pick up your furniture purchases, please adhere to the following:

Please make sure to measure your vehicle to ensure the piece will fit. For heavy items (china cabinet, hutch, bookcase, desk, dresser, sofa, love seat etc.), you are responsible to bring helpers with you to get the piece from the sales floor to your vehicle (we can supervise the removal of the furniture and you are also welcome to use one of our dollies).  All pieces that require you to remove the piece from the floor are clearly marked.

You are welcome to pick up your pieces during normal business hours Monday-Saturday. We do not allow pickups on Sunday. Please contact the store (724-473-4111) to schedule a date and time for the pickup or schedule it when you check out.

If you need to rent a truck to pick up your purchases, we recommend General Rental Center on Marshall Road in Cranberry Township (724-776-6990).
